Carp School
African Big Carp Holidays "Carp School" with Martin Louw
This package is aimed more at local South-African anglers who wants to sharp up their skills.Transport, accomodation & meals at the water, camping costs, fishing equipment & Bait is not included in the package price. We will simply meet you at the chosen water, set up camp together and start fishing with Martin Louw as mentor. This trip is not aimend at watching Martin fish, he is there to help you!
What you need to bring along:
- Camping equipmnent, food & beverage
- Rubber duck, Dinghy or Canoe for taking out lines or retrieving snagged lines

- 10KG's of unprepared Tigernuts, 10kg's of unprepared Maize & 5kg's of unprepared Hemp seed
- All required fishing equipment if you take the "Tutoring only" package

- NB!: For both packages you will need to bring along your own terminal tackle! (Hooks, swivels, hook link materials, lead clips, tubing etc)
It is very important that you have proper "Big Carp" capable fishing equipment. Without the proper Carp care goods (Specimen landing net, unhooking mat, weigh sling etc) & good set of Rods, Reels (Filled with 500m braid) and good quality terminal tackle it is not possible to tutor someone to success. If you are interrested in catching big Carp yet do not own Specimen Carp equipment yet, we can provide you with good quality kit at an additional cost. This includes a Rod Pod, Rods, Reels, Alarms and Swingers. We will have carp care equipment available for use if you do not own these items. (Unhooking mat, Weigh sling, scale, landing net)

Group Sizes:
- If you are a group of 4 or more anglers, you may decide on the venue and book a set date. However, if you are less than 4 anglers you will need to be flexible in terms of venue and dates. It will be the client's responsibility to communicate directly with Martin on a regular basis prior to the trip to find a venue and date that suits everyone. There may be a change in venue at short notice. If this does not suit the client, the cleint will be accomodated on a later trip.
